Context

Grenada's share of the Caribbean Digital Transformation Project (CARDTP), the World Bank's first digital-economy financing for the Eastern Caribbean, alongside Dominica, Saint Lucia and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, approved 1 July 2020.

Objectives

Build digital-skills capacity, support SME technology adoption, launch a citizen e-services portal, and strengthen national cybersecurity and cybercrime response.

Activities

Ministry of ICT Grants & Training Office runs workforce digital-skills training (incl. free Coursera licences requiring ~10 hrs/week), supports SME technology adoption, provides devices/training to vulnerable populations, and launched the eService.gov.gd citizen portal; Grenada acceded to the Budapest Convention on Cybercrime, established a national CSIRT, and launched a Cybercrime and Cybersecurity Awareness Campaign on 4 September 2025.

Results

By December 2025 the Royal Grenada Police Force had stood up new specialised units to investigate digital crimes, described as institutional follow-through from the awareness campaign. No country-specific World Bank results reporting or independent outcome evaluation (e.g. measured SME digital-adoption or cybercrime-rate changes) was found.
