Description

Co-creation HUB Africa (CcHub) was founded in October 2010 by Bosun Tijani and Femi Longe in Yaba, Lagos, opening its doors in September 2011. It pioneered the open-innovation hub model in Nigeria and rapidly became the most influential tech enabler in sub-Saharan Africa.

CcHub operates a continuum from pre-incubation to acceleration, supporting ventures in EdTech, health, creative industries and social innovation. Its 2025 annual impact report documented $4.18 million disbursed to 3,312 African ventures across 49 countries in a single year — portfolio companies raising a further $20 million from external investors at a 5:1 ratio. Cumulatively, the organisation has deployed $17.1 million, catalysing $170 million in outside investment.

Beyond capital, CcHub trained 25,245 individuals in 2025, helped 544 people secure employment, and reached 1.89 million people through its programmes. Physical hubs in Kigali (Rwanda), Nairobi (Kenya) and Windhoek (Namibia) sit alongside the Lagos headquarters, demonstrating the model's transferability.

Notable portfolio companies include BudgIT, Lifebank and Koolboks (which raised an $11 M Series A). In 2025 CcHub launched 15 EdTech products connecting 2,000 teachers and supported 640 women in scaling creative-industry ventures.
