Context

The Croatian Women of Influence Award, promoted by the Croatian Women Network, recognises leadership, innovation and community impact among women of Croatian heritage. Since 2016, it has been conferred on nominees from the Republic of Croatia and the wider Croatian diaspora.

Objectives

The award aims to raise the profile of successful women in business, entrepreneurship, leadership and STEM, and to inspire other women — including younger women through the companion Top-20-Under-20 Future Leaders award for those aged 16–20 — to pursue their own careers and entrepreneurial ambitions.

Activities

The companion Top-20-Under-20 Future Leaders award is conferred on enterprising young women aged 16–20, who can partner with a Croatian Women Network champion and mentor to develop their projects. Winners are presented annually at a gala event held in Croatia on International Women's Day.
