Context

sCooledu, founded in 2017 in Flanders with Digital Belgium Skill Fund support, runs a 'most digital and social school' competition and free workshops on digital citizenship for children, teachers and parents, aiming to spread digital-skills education across Flemish schools.

Results

By 2018, almost 750 schools (28% of Flemish schools) had joined the sCooledu community, and volunteers reached almost 3,000 children and 300 teachers that year through workshops.
