Description

FutureSkills Prime is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and NASSCOM aimed at making India a digital-talent nation, offering training across ten emerging technologies including artificial intelligence.
Learning pathways run about 40 minutes, are aligned to the National Occupational Standards (NOS) framework at Level 5 and above, and award a digital badge for each completed learning unit, shareable on professional and social networks.
The programme reimburses learners up to ₹12,000 for paid courses in AI, cloud computing, cybersecurity, blockchain and data analytics, plus a 100% refund of the assessment fee, paid via direct benefit transfer within about 30 days.
The Indian government reports over 1.85 million sign-ups and 337,000+ course completions as of 2026; no independent study of learning outcomes or employment impact beyond these enrollment and completion figures was found.
