The Generalitat Valenciana launched GVA ConfIA in May 2025 with six pilot algorithms (health, education, environment); it listed 17 systems by December 2025. Outputs are documented, but no outcome evaluation is published.
GVA ConfIA is the public register of algorithmic systems used by the Valencian regional administration, presented on 21 May 2025 during Open Government Week and published on the GVA Oberta transparency portal. It started as a pilot with six algorithms in health, education and environment.
For each system the register publishes the purpose and operating logic, the personal data involved, a risk assessment, possible biases and control measures; the register's own page cites radiology AI products (Gleamer BoneView and ChestView, Lunit INSIGHT) as examples. It covers systems by purpose rather than technical structure, so it also lists non-AI algorithms that affect public decisions.
By 5 December 2025 the Generalitat reported 17 systems and a plan to widen the catalogue, including automated processes of the wider public sector and algorithmic-transparency clauses in public contracts. The application is built as open source and the Generalitat says it will make it available to other administrations to run their own registers. The registry page also reports a 'best good practice' recognition in the 2026 AUDAZ edition.
Limits: the sources are official announcements and local press. No usage data, audit of entry completeness or measured effect on public trust has been published, the legal basis is not stated in the launch coverage, and the page does not give a risk scale.
