Context

Burundi's $30 million World Bank-financed Landscape Restoration and Resilience Project (PRRPB, roughly 2018-2023), implemented with the Ministry of Environment, Agriculture and Livestock and IGN FI, ran systematic land certification across hills in Muyinga and Rural Bujumbura provinces, deliberately registering certificates in both spouses' names.
