Context

Equipping young Europeans with the right skills was reaffirmed by the 2016 Council Resolution on a 'New Skills Agenda for an Inclusive and Competitive Europe', which noted that 40% of employers cannot find people with the skills they need while students leave education without being sufficiently prepared for the labour market.

Objectives

The project aimed to promote acquisition of skills for social inclusion, enhance access and learning performance for disadvantaged learners, support continuous professional development for VET teachers, develop VET-business partnerships, and promote open and innovative pedagogies.

Activities

Robot4All introduced coding and robotics to VET schools and put together a toolkit highlighting how robotics can enhance inclusion across socio-economic status, gender, language acquisition, and learner performance, including freely accessible online robotics material for students in lower-income neighbourhoods.
