Background: Rocket Learning (operated by the EKHO Foundation, headquartered in New Delhi) was founded in 2020 to strengthen India's Anganwadi system — the country's public early-childhood-care network — by sending personalised learning activities and coaching nudges to parents and Anganwadi workers over WhatsApp.
Scale: The Star Educator Program has trained over 1.3 million (13 lakh) Anganwadi workers, and the organisation reports reaching roughly 3 million children and parents across 10 states and 140 districts.
