Technopark Zürich — Switzerland's Pioneer Deep-Tech Campus

Technopark Zürich was founded in 1993 as Switzerland's first large-scale technology park bridging science, technology and industry. Situated at Technoparkstrasse 1 in Zurich-West, its 47,000 m² campus hosts around 260 high- and deep-tech companies, service providers and research institutions, employing approximately 2,800 people across medtech, artificial intelligence, data science, environmental technology and cleantech.

The park's model is deliberate co-location: startups, scale-ups, established companies and research groups share facilities to accelerate knowledge transfer. Over 30 years, the campus has hosted hundreds of companies at various growth stages and has become a benchmark site in the IASP (International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation) global network.

A recent evolution is the AI Startup Center, launched to create a focused AI and data-science innovation cluster within the campus — positioning Zurich as a globally competitive AI hub. Sectors of special emphasis include medical technology (proximity to the University Hospital Zurich and ETH Zurich), cybersecurity, and digital health.
