Context

100% Digital Leeds is a Leeds City Council-led digital inclusion initiative, started 2018, taking a 'furthest first' approach to reach people facing compounding barriers such as disability, learning difficulties, poverty, homelessness, addiction, language barriers, long-term health conditions, social isolation and memory problems.

Objectives

Convene community-based assets so no-one is 'hard to reach'; work flexibly and responsively; move to a whole-system approach enabling independence; connect people to communities and a wider circle of care and support; co-design interventions with professionals, volunteers and people with lived experience.

Activities

Runs an award-winning Tablet Lending scheme, Digital Champion training sessions and local network events; secured a successful GBP 10,000 bid from Good Things Foundation's Future Digital Inclusion Fund to trial a tool helping participants learn essential digital skills plus further tailored learning.
