Bay Zoltán — Hungary's National Applied-Research and Technology-Transfer Institute

Bay Zoltán Nonprofit Ltd. for Applied Research, named after the Hungarian physicist Zoltán Bay, was founded in 1993 as Hungary's leading state-backed applied-research institute network, now a member of the HUN-REN research network. Its mission is to move technology out of the lab and into Hungarian industry, offering contract R&D, testing and technology-transfer services across materials testing, industrial biotechnology, environmental protection, agro-industrial development and related fields.
