Context

This article reviews diversification in the Polish and European labour markets from an equal-opportunities perspective, covering employment rates, unemployment, decision-making representation and the gender pay gap.

Results

The article reports lower female employment rates, higher female unemployment, and persistent income differences by gender in both Poland and the wider EU, using the Gender Inequality Index (GII) to compare Nordic, Mediterranean and Central/Eastern European countries.
