Gdańsk Science and Technology Park — city innovation hub (Gdańsk)

Gdańsk Science and Technology Park (GPNT) was established in 2006 on the initiative of the Marshal's Office of the Pomeranian Voivodeship, the City of Gdańsk, Gdańsk University of Technology, and the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone Ltd., which currently manages the facility. It was built in a converted former printing plant on Trzy Lipy Street, in the Młode Miasto district, and expanded with two modern buildings to cover 40,000+ m² of mixed-use research, office, and incubation space.

The park hosts 80+ resident companies and organisations, specialising primarily in biotechnology, IT, and clean-energy technologies, occupying 96–97% of available space. Its core offer includes:
• Technology Incubator: supports university graduates and spin-offs commercialising research results
• Acceleration Zone: in 2024, the park joined the Startup Booster Poland – Smart UP programme (implemented by PARP) and secured PLN 17 million (~€4 million) for startup support and co-working expansion
• Pomeranian EDIH (European Digital Innovation Hub): launched 2024 under European Funds for a Modern Economy, making the park a national node for SME digital transformation
• 3D Printing Centre, data centre, advanced laboratories, and conference facilities with 1,700+ events hosted annually

The park is an active member of EBN (EU|BIC Innovation Community), IASP (International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation), and the European network of EDIHs. Poland (PL) is absent from the Evidoria City Innovation Library before this entry.
