Context

As part of Malaysia's national 2030 AI-economy strategy, Google and the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) enabled Gemini for Education across all 20 of Malaysia's public universities, effective January 2026 — one of Southeast Asia's largest national higher-education AI deployments to date.
