Description

Uzbekistan's national e-government portal, my.gov.uz, provides access to hundreds of government services ranging from civil registry certificates to social benefit applications. Uzinfocom, the state IT operator under the Ministry of Digital Economy and Technologies, deployed Mukhlisa — an AI voice assistant — to allow citizens to navigate and complete service workflows by speaking naturally rather than filling in web forms.

Mukhlisa covers 761 service types available on the primary portal and automates multi-step workflows end-to-end; for example, a citizen can request a marriage certificate entirely through a voice dialogue without manually navigating menus. As of the first half of 2025, the broader my.gov.uz platform had delivered over 16.5 million services in total, with Mukhlisa handling more than 1 million individual voice requests.

Coverage extends to Uzbek, Russian and English, reflecting the country's multilingual population. The system was highlighted at international digital-government forums as a model for Central Asian e-government modernisation.
