Pardis Technology Park — Iran's State-Backed Science Park Near Tehran

Established in 2001 on 145 hectares roughly 20 km northeast of Tehran, Pardis Technology Park is Iran's largest state-affiliated science and technology park, offering tax preferences, legal and intellectual-property support, and physical infrastructure to companies in ICT, biotechnology, nanotechnology and advanced manufacturing. Its "Elite Technology Development Center" runs a dedicated incubation track for founders.
The International Association of Science Parks (IASP), a Spain-based global membership body editorially independent of the Iranian government, lists Pardis as hosting "more than 370 high-tech companies employing more than 6,000 specialists as direct and established members, and more than 2,000 companies and startups as sub members." The park is planned to expand across six phases to 1,000 hectares.
