The Sao Paulo water fund for the PCJ and Upper Tiete watersheds is a multi-donor trust with SABESP, TNC and SOS Mata Atlantica.
It has conserved 11,000 ha of Atlantic Forest, engaged 430 farmers and leveraged R$200M (US$61M), with models indicating a 50% reduction in sediment load in priority areas.
