Situația femeilor și a bărbaților în poziții de decizie în administrația publică centrală

This analysis takes as its starting point the annual update of the database on the situation of women and men in leadership positions . It response to political, economical and social power, because it does an study about comparable for women and men in managerial positions for politics, public administration,judiciary, business and finance, social partners and NGOs, environment, media and additional data (population, employment, company leaders and small businesses).
But it focuses more in the political power and political position of women, finding several information related to the gender equality in this decision-making positions like::
- At the central level, both decision-making levels, in 2021, there were 714 decision-making posts (of which 111 vacant posts), the occupancy rate was 84.5%.
- 46.1% of decision-makers in central government were men and 53.9% women. Women outnumbered men by 7.8 pp.
- In terms of the evolution of employment of women and men respectively, there have been slight fluctuations in the percentage of women and men in management positions over the last 5 years. Compared to the year 2020, in the year 2021, women have seen a slight decrease (0.4 pp) in employment in decision-making positions (53.9% in 2021 compared to 54.3% in 2020).
