Station F — the world's largest startup campus

Station F, opened in 2017 in Paris's renovated Halle Freyssinet by founder Xavier Niel, is the world's largest startup campus at 34,000 m2, located in a single site that concentrates founders, corporates, investors and universities.

It houses over 1,000 startups at a time and runs 30+ specialised incubation and acceleration programmes in partnership with global corporations including Google, Microsoft, Meta, LVMH, AWS and Apple, alongside investor networks and shared services.

It has supported more than 8,000 companies as of 2025, publishes an annual 'Future 40' list of its best-performing startups, and has become the anchor institution of the French Tech ecosystem.

It is presented as a model many cities study for concentrating an entire startup ecosystem at scale in one place, though its private funding base makes a like-for-like copy demanding for other cities.
