On 23 June 2023, the Universidad Pedagógica Nacional Francisco Morazán (UPNFM) — Honduras's national teacher-training university — partnered with Wolfram Research and the Academia Nacional de Ciencias de Honduras to provide unlimited free software licences to students and teachers at every level: schools, colleges and universities nationwide.
The platform is Wolfram's computational-AI engine, which walks users through step-by-step solutions in Spanish ('resolver problemas en español paso a paso') covering algebra, polynomial factorisation, chemical-equation balancing, simulations, digital modelling and virtual laboratories. According to UPNFM's Mario Lanza, the goal is to strengthen computational thinking and problem-solving capacity among students, teachers and researchers.
