El esquema vietnamita de Pago por Servicios Ambientales Forestales (Decreto 99/2010) fue la primera ley nacional de PFES de Asia, obligando a las empresas hidroeléctricas, de abastecimiento de agua y de ecoturismo a aportar al Fondo Forestal nacional.
