We the UAE 2031 Strategic Intelligence — the UAE Embeds a WEF-Built AI Platform Across Every Ministry

The UAE's "We the UAE 2031" national vision sets economic, social, diplomatic and environmental goals for the country's next development phase. To help ministries track fast-moving global trends against these goals, the UAE Prime Minister's Office partnered with the World Economic Forum (WEF) to adapt WEF's global Strategic Intelligence knowledge platform for government use.
Launched in October 2024, the "We the UAE 2031 Strategic Intelligence" platform draws on roughly 450 global information sources and input from around 2,500 experts to generate AI-enabled briefings across 78 policy areas spanning the vision's four pillars (Forward Economy, Forward Society, Forward Diplomacy, Forward Ecosystem). Eight Strategic Intelligence Councils were established alongside the platform to turn its outputs into recommendations for the Prime Minister's Office, and access has been extended to ministries, councils and partner organisations government-wide.
Official UAE and WEF communications describe the platform as now embedded in day-to-day governance, letting ministries compare scenarios and monitor emerging trends against Vision 2031's pillars. Neither the UAE government nor the WEF has published a quantified assessment of how the platform has changed specific policy decisions, timelines or outcomes since launch.
As a very recently launched (October 2024), whole-of-government tool without external audit or published outcome data, its measured public value cannot yet be verified independently, even though its institutional rollout - a dedicated council structure and cross-ministry access - is well documented.
