Context

Women in Power is an EU project set up in 2015 to provide visibility for capable and motivated women and to stimulate diversity on company boards. In Malta, the project was taken up by Women Directors in Malta (WDM).

Activities

The initiative delivers training aimed at women working in traditionally male-dominated sectors — footwear, textiles and furniture — to build sectoral and managerial competencies. Training is offered free of charge online, in several languages, and is designed for participants with substantial industry experience but limited formal education.
