Context

WomenBridges is an EU-funded project (€60,000) coordinated by the IMPACT DRIVE Foundation under its momgotajob initiative, delivered in partnership with Women Do Business (Greece) and Soziale Zukunft (Austria), and covering Bulgaria, Greece and Austria. It targets youth workers, NGO teams, trainers and social workers who support girls and women aged 18-30, particularly from vulnerable or disadvantaged backgrounds.

Objectives

The project aims to promote women's economic empowerment and work-life balance by building career paths toward economic independence for young women, and by strengthening the capacity of youth workers to deliver this support across gender equality, human rights, economic empowerment and social inclusion.

Activities

Planned activities include exchange of practice between the three partner organisations, a Training-of-Trainers course for a pilot group of youth workers, pilot "Local Bridges" activities validating the methodology with final beneficiaries in Bulgaria, Austria and Greece, and development of an implementation handbook for wider dissemination.

Conclusions

The project had recently concluded at the time of reporting, and no outcome or impact data had yet been published; a formal evaluation and an implementation manual were planned as part of the project design to support future sustainability and scale-up.
