Wrocław Technology Park — Poland's largest tech park cluster by number of companies

Wrocław Technology Park (WTP) is a network of five innovation parks in Wrocław, Poland, founded in 1998 with support from the City of Wrocław, the Lower Silesia region and national authorities. Managed by Wrocławski Park Technologiczny S.A. and operating as a Special Economic Zone, it spans 216,500 m² and hosts companies in IT, biotechnology, electronics, power engineering, medicine, cryogenics, nanotechnology and chemistry.

WTP aims to build a diversified, multi-campus technology-park ecosystem that attracts companies and R&D investment across a broad range of sectors.

WTP offers nine areas of service, including business incubators, laboratory and R&D facilities, specialised consulting and academic entrepreneurship programmes, and is a member of the International Association of Science Parks (IASP).

In 2023, WTP hosted 635 companies across its five parks, including 150 new tenants, employing more than 7,400 people and creating 2,600 new specialised jobs since 2019. Reported R&D project value totalled PLN 1.7 billion, with 92 patents and 14 utility models filed; 95% of companies generated active product or service revenue, averaging PLN 8.1 million annually.

WTP demonstrates that a legacy industrial city can build a diversified, national-leading tech-park ecosystem across five campuses within 25 years, becoming Poland's largest technology park by number of companies; the figures reported reflect a single 2023 snapshot from investment-promotion sources rather than an independently audited longitudinal evaluation.
