Context
Founded in 2011 by Armenia's Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises (UATE), Armath sets up free after-school engineering labs inside ordinary public schools where students aged 10–18 learn robotics, programming and hardware prototyping with donated equipment and mentoring from working engineers.
Results
By 2023 the network counted more than 600 labs across Armenia, Nagorno-Karabakh and Georgia plus export franchises in the US, France, Kuwait and India, reaching an estimated 17,200 students with close to $24 million invested. UATE reports about 45% of graduates went on to Armenian universities and roughly 11% were already working in IT by 2022.
