Context
In August 2022, Windhoek hosted the 5th edition of the AGCCI Connected African Girls Coding Camp — the first in Namibia — with ~100 girls and young women aged 12-25 attending in person and ~2,000 more following remotely, covering animation, web development, IoT/robotics and 3D printing.
Results
The camp closed with an innovation fair; across the four editions preceding Namibia's, AGCCI cohorts had produced 198 prototypes, 40 of which were recognised for community impact.
