The EVE Programme is a leadership-development initiative originated by Danone and run in partnership with other major companies -- including L'Oréal, Orange, La Poste, SNCF, Crédit Agricole, KPMG and Société Générale -- to address the progression of women within organisations. It operates internationally across Europe, Asia-Pacific and Africa.
The programme aims to improve women's leadership, support individual development and collective performance, and address the gender gap, on the premise that diversity at senior levels goes hand in hand with company performance.
EVE works on two levers, the individual and the organisation, through workshops, seminars and debates, including three-day seminars. It targets managers, women and men, who aspire to leadership roles, with an intended participant mix of one-third directors-general, one-third directors, one-third senior managers, 40% international participants and 20% men.
Since 2010, more than 4,600 women and men have taken part in the programme, with more than 50 nationalities represented in the community sharing best practices and other areas of common interest.
After more than ten years running, the programme's seminars have reportedly achieved a high level of quality and participant success, and involvement now spans different companies and three continents (Asia-Pacific, Africa and Europe).
