Context

A large number of people in Hungary live in remote areas where ICT is not well known or used, including many people working in agriculture and people with physical disabilities who could benefit from remote/flexible work enabled by ICT. These disadvantaged groups are rarely addressed by digital-inclusion programmes.

Objectives

Through a training programme, to help adults in remote disadvantaged areas of Hungary who work in agriculture or are physically challenged to advance their digital literacy and widen their digital competencies, increasing their possibilities in work and other areas of life.

Activities

The curriculum focuses on mobile ICTs that can help people who are restricted in movement or in changing locations, delivered with support from trainers, counsellors and coaches, and NGO/volunteer-sector organisations and staff.
