This dissertation examines the under-representation of women in senior leadership positions within Malta's employment sector, focusing on women in or aspiring to high managerial and executive board roles.

Objectives

The research aims to identify how work-life-family issues and cultural background influence women's progress towards senior leadership roles, and to propose strategies and initiatives encouraging more women into senior and executive positions in Maltese private-sector entities.
