Context

English My Way, developed by the Good Things Foundation with the BBC and British Council and funded by the UK Department for Communities and Local Government, delivered a 24-week blended-learning pre-entry ESOL programme combining tutor-led sessions, online multimedia learning and volunteer-supported Learning Circles, plus a companion vocabulary app.

Results

In its first two years, over 9,172 learners benefited from ESOL learning across 38 UK areas of highest language need, with 70% of learners progressing to an Entry Level 1 ESOL course.
