Context
This study investigates entrepreneurial perceptions among students regarding professional careers in Latvia, analysing macro, micro and entrepreneurial-education factors, including gender differences.
Activities
The research is based on data collected through a survey of an original dataset of 360 young people in Latvia, analysed using descriptive statistics (absolute and relative frequencies, means and standard deviations) and inferential statistics.
Results
The results reveal several statistically significant gender differences in entrepreneurial perceptions among the surveyed students.
Conclusions
The study contributes to the literature on entrepreneurial perceptions by gender and is intended to help inform policies aiming to boost entrepreneurship education and balance entrepreneurship as a career choice across genders.
