Context

The School of Entrepreneurs and Businesswomen of Asturias (EEEA), promoted by the Asturian Women's Institute together with regional and municipal authorities and the Ministry of Equality, is an initiative to reactivate the Asturian economy, create jobs and support women's full integration into work and business. Its central action was the construction of a 1,500 m2 centre in Avilés intended as a reference centre for motivating, training and advising women entrepreneurs and businesswomen. The school offers training covering all stages of entrepreneurship, from generating a business idea through to technical training and business consolidation and growth, together with advisory and mentoring services delivered in cooperation with regional business-support networks.
