The WAB is a digital cooperative who put the expertise of web professionals at the service of everyone to train, advise and support users in all their digital initiatives.
There are 4 main pillars of activity at WAB:
• A free web school located in a priority district, including 3 long courses
• A training and support centre for the digital transition of small and medium-sized businesses.
• A Digital Employers' Group (GEN24) ¶
• A Coworking Space (the TAF Café)
There are three long courses at the web school:
Digital Sesame : 14 places available each each year. In 7 months, it allows you to discover the main skills related to web professions: front-end development, web design, communication strategy and community management. To access it, you have no pre-requisites in terms of age or diplomas. It is aimed primarily at job seekers, young people without qualifications, women and residents of priority neighbourhoods, everyone is free to apply.
Web Designer : 15 places available each year. This course trains individuals to become versatile web professionals, capable of both designing and producing digital communication tools, managing an organisation's webmarketing strategy and producing graphic documents for print and marketing.
Entrepreneur • e course: 20 places available each year. The WAB Entrepreneurial Course is for everyone. The objective is to enable everyone to overcome all the barriers limiting access to entrepreneurship by providing adequate equipment (access to a workstation, a computer, a broadband connection, etc.) and access to a network of professionals. Training involves several factors, including creativity, financing, marketing, communication, digital skills, management, accounting and management.
Context: The WAB is a Cooperative Company of Collective Interest, created in August 2016 in the Priority Quarter in Bergerac and which brings together both private and public subscribers. At the heart of this objective of the territory's digital transition is on the one hand the desire to support small businesses in their development thanks to digital technology and on the other hand the desire to offer the possibility of continuing post-baccalaureate studies free and of high quality in rural areas, in priority neighbourhoods.
