Context

In autumn 2025, Hungary's Ministry of Culture and Innovation launched integrated AI courses in 60 schools nationwide, including three schools serving ethnic Hungarian communities in neighbouring countries, as the first phase of a plan to make Hungary a 'vocational training superpower' through AI education. The initial rollout enrolled over 1,000 students and trained 60 teachers, delivered through Logoscool, a Hungarian-developed AI-education platform the ministry says already operates in 30 countries and has trained 300,000 people. The government has mandated a roadmap for integrating AI education into public schooling by 31 March 2026, with implementation targeted for completion by 31 December 2026.
