ES30Madrid Emprende is the Economic Development Agency of Madrid City Council's General Directorate for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, operating since 2005. It runs a network of business incubators across strategic areas of the city, offering office space, free coworking areas, coaching and acceleration programmes to entrepreneurs, SMEs and startups under a triple-helix model that combines public, academic and private-sector support.
The incubator network comprises 7 centres, currently hosting around 50 companies, with more than 400 graduate companies since the network began. The Carabanchel incubator hosted an Innovation Camp in which 66 secondary and high school students took part, and the Madrid Emprende Investment Forum brought together more than 50 investors in its 2023 edition. The 2023 Madrid Impact Awards received 111 applications, of which 48 projects reached the finals and competed for 11 second prizes and 3 main awards. The Emprendedoras Award for women entrepreneurs offers 14 prizes totalling €100,000, and the Aula Emprende online course provides 25 teaching hours of entrepreneurship training.
