Milano & Partners International Talent Attraction

Milano & Partners is the official foreign investment and city promotion agency of the Comune di Milano, established in 2017. Its talent arm focuses on attracting international professionals and students by providing a one-stop relocation portal, a curated Expat in Milan guide, and dedicated landing pads in fintech, fashion-tech, and life sciences. The agency works in partnership with Assolombarda (the Milan employers association), major universities (Bocconi, Politecnico), and the Milan Chamber of Commerce. In 2022, Milan ranked 7th globally in Euromonitor Top 100 City Destinations and recorded its highest-ever number of foreign residents (approximately 280,000, representing 19% of the city population). The city attracted over EUR 2.7 billion in announced FDI in 2022 (fDi Intelligence/FT data), partly attributed to talent availability marketed through Milano & Partners. The programme hosts the annual Milan International Week bringing together 400+ global companies. Documented outputs include 15,000+ relocation information requests handled annually and partnerships with 60+ companies offering fast-track onboarding support.
