Morocco's Ministry of Solidarity launched a digital platform for people with disabilities in October 2024, and in July 2026 signed a cross-ministerial accessibility agreement with the digital-transition ministry — though neither reports measured usage yet.
On 1 October 2024 in Rabat, Morocco's Minister of Solidarity, Social Inclusion and Family, Aawatif Hayar, launched the “Digital platform for a better future for people with disabilities,” designed by the Association Colombe Blanche with the Swiss organisation Enable Me and the Moroccan network Mamar, under a framework partnership agreement between the ministry and the association. The platform aims to simplify administrative procedures, provide information and support services, facilitate access to social and economic opportunities, and foster peer learning among users; the minister positioned it alongside existing e-government tools for persons with disabilities, including the disability-card application platform, “Khadamaty” and “Rafik” (support for families of autistic children).
The effort continued into 2026: at the 27 July 2026 closing ceremony of Morocco's second National Disability Awareness Campaign in Rabat (held 15-27 July, with regional colloquia in Oujda, Errachidia, Fès and Dakhla), the Ministry of Solidarity, the State Secretariat for Social Inclusion and the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform signed a framework agreement to “strengthen digital accessibility within public administrations,” with officials describing digital transformation as “a true lever to bring administration closer to citizens”; the government also announced plans to produce a disability mapping for all twelve regions of Morocco.
Coverage of both the 2024 platform and the 2026 partnership is limited to launch and ceremony reporting; neither the ministry nor its partners have published user numbers, processing-time data, or an evaluation of the platform's actual uptake, so this practice is scored on documented institutional commitment rather than demonstrated impact.
