Context: According to the Digital Agenda for Europe (2014-2020), enhancing digital literacy, skills and inclusion is one of the main priorities of the European Economic and Social Committee. All Europeans – and here elderly people- must become e-seniors as soon as possible.
Stakeholders involved: The project involves institutions, public and private bodies, governmental services, NGOs, community centre representatives, along with professionals, stakeholders and practitioners, adults training providers, social workers, educators, medical and nursing staff oriented to the elderly people caring, and senior citizens themselves.
Key learning points: The project proADAS is in alliance with the development of relevant-high quality skills and competences, since the partnership of the participating bodies here are oriented and committed to implement all these actions/activities needed for supporting seniors in acquiring and cultivating to their best level the basic skills and key competences, both with a digital content, towards personal development, civic participation and successful social life.
