ProADAS

Pro-ADAS project aimed at tackling the gap between ageing population and digital literacy and address the high necessity for digital key competences due to the growing seniors population in Europe. Active ageing was framed as seniors activating themselves to be as independent and autonomous as possible, taking part in personal, societal and economic spheres, with digital skills as crucial enablers.

Strengthen institutions, centres, and stakeholders in adult education and digital promotion for active ageing; empower adult training providers and elderly carers for seniors' training; make digital competences more accessible to seniors over 60-year old and increase the use of ICT at all levels; enhance seniors' competences for social participation and quality of life; use innovative methods with digital tools and Open Educational Resources; construct a curriculum tailored to seniors' characteristics and needs with educational practices.

The project constructed a curriculum tailored to seniors' characteristics and needs, delivered via a ProADAS e-learning platform and a ProADAS mobile application, using innovative methods with digital tools and Open Educational Resources.

Expected outputs: ProADAS curriculum, ProADAS e-learning courses via e-platform, and ProADAS Mobile Application. No quantified evaluation outcomes are documented on the practice page.
