The aim of the project was to enhance the quality of training programs addressed at unemployed persons, in particular those aged 50+.
The project was carried out with the participation of 4 partner organisations from 4 countries, from Poland, The Czech Republic, Netherlands and Hungary.
Activities included:
• Designing a pilot training model aimed at developing digital literacy among unemployed people aged 50+.
• Running pilot training for representatives of the target group.
Outcomes included:
• Developing digital literacy among unemployed people aged 50+ who participated in the pilot training.
• Enabling participants to acquire competencies at a level sufficient for them to use digital technologies in everyday life, in the area which interests them most; making it possible for them to look for a job using the Internet independently; to make a video C.V and apply for a job online.
After the pilot training and obtaining feedback from training participants, they developed the final form of the training model aimed at developing digital competence. It is the output and final result of the project.
Context: AKLUB Centre of education and counselling is an educational and not for profit organisation. Organisation AKLUB is respected and highly appreciated in the Czech Republic for educational services and for developing educational and integration programmes and products. Their team consists of professionals in education - counsellors, coaches, teachers, trainers and psychologists on the one hand and project managers and administrative staff on the other hand.
