Zimbabwe's Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education (MoPSE) partnered with Qurious Mind Zimbabwe to run "Robotics, Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technologies" (RAIET) Trainer-of-Trainers workshops, designed to build teachers' capacity to deliver the country's new Heritage-Based Curriculum requirement for compulsory AI, coding and robotics instruction. The Midlands Province leg opened at Errymaple Junior School in Zvishavane on 1–3 June 2026, under the theme "No Child Left Behind in Robotics, AI and Emerging Technologies," before the remaining nine provinces were covered between 15 and 27 June 2026.

Each workshop ran for three days and covered robotics fundamentals, mechanical systems, electronics, coding and safe handling of Qurio Robotics Kits, Arduino platforms and mBlock programming; participants built functional models such as windmills, cranes and motorised vehicles. Independent local press (Masvingo Mirror) and the implementing organisation both describe a cascade design in which trained teachers return to their schools to train colleagues and, in turn, students — a multiplier model rather than direct mass instruction.

According to the implementing organisation, the rollout reached 605+ teachers, ministry officials, district inspectors and administrators across all 10 provinces, with a stated ambition to extend eventually to 72 districts and roughly 11,700 schools nationwide. That expansion target is a forward-looking plan rather than a demonstrated outcome, and no independent data on classroom implementation or student learning results following the training was available at publication.
