The project Silver Surfers aims to promote the importance of digital literacy and bring modern information-communication technologies closer to older people. Besides the project directly focusing on providing digital literacy to vulnerable groups with the purpose of bridging and
Silver Surfers (Serbia), funded by the Ministry of Culture, Media and Information Society and the EU, ran basic IT workshops for people over 55 in eight towns, plus a grandparent-grandchild online quiz competition pairing seniors (55+) with grandchildren (under 13).
115 seniors from eight towns completed the IT workshops, and about 200 people over 55 took part in the project overall.
