Technopark Maroc — Morocco's First Technology Incubator Network

Technopark is Morocco's first technology business incubator, founded in 2001 in Casablanca's Sidi Maârouf district through a public-private partnership anchored by CDG (Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion) and Maroc Telecom, with IBM, Microsoft, and Amazon among later technology partners. It serves ICT, greentech, and creative-industry startups.

Over 24 years of operation, the network has supported more than 3,000 startups, created 15,000+ direct and indirect jobs, and maintained an 86% incubation success rate with a 95% overall satisfaction score. More than 35% of resident startups export internationally, supported by partnerships with French, Spanish, US, and Canadian accelerators.

The model has been replicated across Morocco: sites now operate in Casablanca (2001), Rabat (2012), Tangier, Agadir, and Essaouira, collectively hosting 450 permanent resident companies. Three further sites (Fez, Tiznit, Oujda) launched in 2024. At GITEX Africa 2024, Technopark signed five major international partnership agreements.
