Timlogo — AI-Assisted Speech-Therapy Platform for Children with Speech Disabilities in Romania

Timlogo is an AI-assisted speech-therapy platform built by Romanian e-learning company Ascendia. It analyses a child's pronunciation, helps diagnose specific speech disorders, and automatically generates personalised, adaptive exercises for therapists to use in schools and clinics.
Launched in 2018 and backed by a Microsoft AI for Accessibility grant (Azure credits), Timlogo addresses a need Microsoft's own reporting frames against Romania's estimated 400,000 children with speech disabilities, over 10% of the country's child population. As of the latest reporting it is used by more than 510 trained speech therapists across 14 schools nationwide.
Coverage remains modest relative to national need - 14 schools is a small fraction of Romania's school system - and no independent outcome study (e.g. measured speech-improvement rates) was found; available sources report adoption and reach, not clinical results. Publicly announced plans to expand into Poland, Moldova, Hungary, Bulgaria and Serbia had not been confirmed as launched at the time of this review.
