Context

Kuwait's Ministry of Finance launched TRASUL+ in June 2025, described as the government sector's first AI-driven correspondence system, built in partnership with Microsoft to speed up and standardise correspondence drafting, routing and tracking within the ministry and with other government entities. The ministry had for years managed correspondence through largely manual, paper-based or email-based workflows typical of much of the Gulf region's public administration. At the Microsoft AI Summit Kuwait on 19 October 2025, the Ministry of Finance was honoured among winners of the government's AI Excellence Awards for the TRASUL+ system.
