Context

In the shift toward a digital economy, women remain significantly under-represented relative to men in the European digital labour market; left unaddressed, this gap risks losing out on female talent, innovation and entrepreneurship and further widening gender inequality. Women4IT is a multi-stakeholder partnership funded by the EEA Grants and the Norway Grants Fund for Youth Employment, supported by 9 partners and implemented in Malta, Greece, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania and Spain.

Objectives

Raise awareness of the digital skills and gender gap and increase the number of vulnerable young women moving into digital-sector jobs, with partners aiming to help 1,000 young women take successful steps into digital job-related employment.

Activities
