Context
The programme aimed to train unemployed women and men in ICT to improve job market opportunities, targeting women in difficult economic situations. Initially women-only, it later included men. Requirements included Job Centre registration, B2 English proficiency, and high motivation.
Objectives
To train unemployed women (and later also men) in software testing skills to improve their job market opportunities, particularly women in difficult economic circumstances.
Activities
The approach combined 120-hour training sessions with 480-hour internships, covering software testing, Agile/Scrum practices, automated testing, labour market understanding, and business processes. Participants could receive job offers based on internship performance. Six training editions were conducted between 2014 and 2017.
