Context
ZBADAI ('badAI') is an educational project run by Warsaw's Centrum Nauki Kopernik (Copernicus Science Centre) and financed by Poland's Minister of National Education. It pairs 100 primary schools (grades VI-VIII, joining 2026/2027) with 100 upper-secondary schools (joining 2027/2028), running through June 2028.
Results
Each participating school forms a research group of two teachers and at least 15 students, who carry out interdisciplinary research projects using AI tools to formulate research questions, investigate, verify claims and draw conclusions. Teachers complete a dedicated AI course and receive ready-made lesson scenarios and expert assistance from the Copernicus Science Centre.
Conclusions
As a programme only beginning its first school-year cohort in autumn 2026, no learning-outcome results yet exist. Lesson scenarios produced are distributed via Poland's Integrated Educational Platform to an estimated 6 million potential users nationwide.
