Contexto

Resolution of the Council of Ministers No. 61/2018 establishing Portugal's National Strategy for Equality and Non-Discrimination 2018-2030 (Portugal + Igual — ENIND), approved by the XXI Constitutional Government.

Objetivos

The strategy is delivered through three action plans — Equality between Women and Men (PAIMH), Preventing and Combating Violence Against Women and Domestic Violence (PAVMVD), and Combating Discrimination on grounds of Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity and Expression, and Sexual Characteristics (PAOIEC) — organised around four axes: (1) mainstreaming gender equality and non-discrimination across governance; (2) full and equal participation of women and men in public and private life; (3) egalitarian, future-oriented scientific and technological development; (4) elimination of all forms of violence against women and against LGBTI people, through 2030.
